8 week private program

Narcissistic Abuse Recovery Coaching (8 Week Private Program)

An eight week private coaching program to break the trauma bond, end the self-blame, and rebuild a self that is actually yours. Online, worldwide, $888.

Who this is for

This program is for people who are out of a narcissistic or emotionally abusive relationship, or actively getting out, and have found that knowing what happened is not the same as being free of it. You have probably read everything. You can name gaslighting, trauma bonding and the discard cycle. And you still miss them, still replay it, still flinch when the phone lights up.

That gap is not a character flaw. It is what happens when your understanding has moved on and your nervous system has not. This program closes that gap, in the order it actually closes.

What is included

Weekly private sessions

Eight one-to-one sessions, online, in your timezone. No group calls, no recorded course you watch alone.

The RENEW Method, in sequence

We work the five steps in the order recovery actually happens, rather than jumping to the part that feels most urgent.

Nervous system tools that work in real time

Practical, body-based regulation you can use during a difficult message, a handover, or a 2am spiral. Not theory.

A contact strategy for your actual situation

Full no contact where it is possible, and structured grey rock where it is not, including co-parenting and shared finances.

Between-session support

You are not alone with it for six days between calls. Support between sessions is part of the program.

Standards that outlast the program

You leave with written, self-led standards, so the work holds after we stop meeting.

This is for you if

  • You are out, leaving, or planning to leave.
  • You understand what happened but still cannot feel free of it.
  • You keep breaking no contact, or cannot go no contact at all.
  • You want practical work, not just somewhere to vent.
  • You are willing to do something between sessions.

This is not for you if

  • You are in immediate danger. Safety and specialist support come first.
  • You are in crisis or managing active trauma symptoms. That needs clinical care, and I will say so rather than take your money.
  • You want me to diagnose the other person. I will not do that.
  • You want a guaranteed timeline. Nobody can honestly give you one.
  • You are looking for help winning a court case. That is a lawyer, not a coach.

What trauma-informed coaching actually means

"Trauma-informed" gets used as a tone of voice. It is not one. It refers to a published framework, and the six principles below come from SAMHSA's guidance on a trauma-informed approach, set out with the CDC's Center for Preparedness and Response.

Being trauma-informed describes how somebody works. It is not a licence to treat trauma, and anyone using the phrase to imply clinical training is misusing it. Here is what each principle looks like inside this program.

Safety
Nothing starts until your immediate situation is stable. If you are in danger, that comes before any recovery work, and I will say so rather than begin.
Trustworthiness and transparency
You know what the program is, what it costs, what it does not do, and where its limits are, before you pay anything.
Peer support
I have been through this myself. That is experience rather than a credential, and I am clear with you about which one I am drawing on.
Collaboration and mutuality
You are not a case to be managed. We work out what happened together, and you correct me when I have it wrong.
Empowerment, voice and choice
You set the pace and you can decline any piece of it. After a relationship that overrode your choices, being told what to do is the wrong medicine.
Cultural, historical and gender issues
Men are routinely disbelieved when they name this. So are people whose families or communities treat leaving as the betrayal. That shapes the work.

The practical version: you will never be asked to retell the worst of it to convince me it happened, and you will not be pushed into an exercise because it is on the plan for week four. Recovery that overrides you is the same shape as the thing you are recovering from.

How the eight weeks run

This is the shape, not a script. Real recovery does not stay on schedule, and I pace it to you rather than to the calendar.

  1. Weeks 1 to 2

    Name it and get stable

We establish what actually happened, in accurate language, and get your immediate safety and contact situation under control. Most people feel the first real drop in self-blame here, simply from having the pattern named.

  2. Weeks 3 to 4

    Break the trauma bond

This is the part willpower does not solve. We work the bond directly: why you miss someone who hurt you, why no contact keeps breaking, and how to regulate the withdrawal instead of white-knuckling it.

  3. Weeks 5 to 6

    Get your own voice back

We reconnect you with what you actually feel, need and value, after years of it being overwritten. This is where clients stop asking me what they should want.

  4. Weeks 7 to 8

Set standards and plan for contact

You write the standards that run your life from here, and we pressure-test them against the situations you will actually face, including the ones involving this person.

The RENEW Method, the backbone of this program

Most people try to heal in the wrong order. They rebuild self-worth while still in survival mode, or go no contact without understanding why they keep breaking it. RENEW runs in the order your mind and body actually recover.

  1. Recognize the abuse pattern

You learn to see what happened for what it was: the cycle, the gaslighting, the trauma bond, the discard. When you can name the pattern, you stop blaming yourself for not leaving sooner. Recognition is where the self-blame ends.

  2. Establish personal safety

We end the chaos loop. Real no contact where possible, grey rock where it is not, and simple nervous system tools so you stop living in fight or flight. Nothing else holds until this is in place.

  3. Name your needs and values

You reconnect with what you actually feel, want, and stand for, after years of it being overwritten. This is where your own voice comes back.

  4. Exit harmful conditioning

We release the beliefs and reflexes the abuse trained into you, so the old programming stops quietly running your choices, your relationships, and your self-talk.

  5. Write self-led standards

You set the standards that run your life and your relationships from here. Clear, non-negotiable, and yours. This is the line no one gets to talk you out of again.

This is where recovery becomes self-leadership. The goal is not just to heal. It is to become someone abuse can never find a handle on again.

Vishnu Ra, narcissistic abuse recovery coach, in his study

A trauma bond is not love, and it is not weakness. It is what happens when the same person becomes both the source of the fear and the only source of relief from it.

That is a conditioning problem, not a character problem. It is also why willpower keeps failing you, and why understanding it intellectually has not set you free. We work the bond itself, in the order it actually releases.

People who did this work.

Before working with Vishnu, I was second-guessing everything. I did not know which thoughts were mine and which were planted by my ex. The RENEW method gave me a roadmap when I felt completely lost. I finally feel like myself again, but stronger.

Sarah, UK

I had gone no contact three times and kept breaking it. It felt like an addiction. Understanding the trauma bond and regulating my nervous system changed everything. It was not just talk therapy, it was actionable steps to get my power back.

M.T., Canada

Vishnu does not just listen, he equips you. Setting boundaries used to make me feel physically sick. Now they are non-negotiable standards. The Self-Mastery program is exactly that, mastery over your own life.

Questions about this program

What does the narcissistic abuse recovery program cost?

The program is $888 for eight weeks. That includes eight private online sessions, support between sessions, and the tools and written standards you keep afterwards.

How long does it take to break a trauma bond?

Honestly, it varies, and the length of the relationship matters less than people expect. What matters is whether your nervous system has anywhere safe to land, and whether you understand the mechanism. Most clients feel a real shift somewhere in weeks three to five, once we work the bond directly instead of trying to reason with it. Anyone giving you a guaranteed number is guessing.

What if I am still in contact, or I have to co-parent?

Then we build for that, and it is common. Full no contact is not available to everyone. We use grey rock, structured and minimal communication, documentation habits, and regulation tools for the moments you cannot avoid. Your plan is built around the situation you actually have.

What if I go back to them during the program?

Then we keep working. Going back is part of the pattern for a lot of people, not a personal failure and not a reason to be dropped. It is information about where the bond still has a grip. I have no interest in shaming you for something the abuse trained into you.

What is trauma-informed coaching?

Trauma-informed coaching means the work is built around the six principles SAMHSA published for a trauma-informed approach: safety, trustworthiness and transparency, peer support, collaboration and mutuality, empowerment and choice, and attention to cultural, historical and gender issues. In practice it means the pace is yours, nothing is forced, and the aim is never to have you relive what happened in order to prove it mattered. It describes how somebody works, not what they are licensed to treat.

Is trauma-informed coaching the same as trauma therapy?

No, and the difference matters. Trauma therapy treats a diagnosable condition and is delivered by a licensed clinician. Trauma-informed coaching is forward-looking work that recognises what abuse did to your nervous system and is structured so the process itself does not add to the harm. I am a certified coach, not a licensed clinician. If you need treatment, you need a clinician, and plenty of clients do both at once.

Is this therapy?

No. This is coaching. I am a certified coach, not a licensed clinician, and I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. If you are in crisis or managing a diagnosable condition, clinical care comes first, and plenty of clients do therapy and this program at the same time.

Do I need to be sure it was abuse before I start?

No. Not being sure is one of the most common reasons people come, and that uncertainty is usually a symptom rather than a sign you are wrong. Part of the early work is looking clearly at what happened so you can stop relitigating it in your head.

Do you work with men?

Yes. Men are routinely disbelieved when they name this kind of abuse, particularly after separation. You will be believed here.

Coaching is not therapy and is not a substitute for medical or psychiatric care. If you are in crisis, please use the support resources on this site or contact your local emergency services.
