Questions about single sessions
What does a single session cost?
A single 60 minute private session is $200, paid at booking.
What actually happens in the session?
We use the whole hour on your situation. You tell me what is going on, I ask questions to get clear on the pattern rather than just the incident, and we finish with something specific you can do next. It is a working session, not an intake call or a sales conversation.
How is this different from the free fit call?
The fit call is short, free, and exists to work out whether we should work together. A single session is paid, a full hour, and is actual coaching on your situation. If you want help with something specific rather than a conversation about programs, book the session.
Can a single session turn into the full program?
Yes, and it often does. There is no obligation either way, and I will not spend your paid hour selling you the next thing.
What if I need more than one session?
You can book another, but if you are dealing with a trauma bond or ongoing post-separation abuse, single sessions are usually not the efficient path. That work needs sequence, and the 8 week recovery program is built for it. I will tell you if that is what I think you need.
Is this therapy?
No. This is coaching, not therapy, and I am not a licensed clinician. If you are in crisis, please use the crisis resources on this site rather than waiting for a session.
Coaching is not therapy and is not a substitute for medical or psychiatric care. If you are in crisis, please use the support resources on this site or contact your local emergency services.
If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services. In the US, the National Domestic Violence Hotline is 800-799-7233, or text START to 88788. More support resources, including UK, Canada and Australia, are here.
